Here at Second Steps Studio, not only do we instruct dance and dance technique, we also strive to instill character, self- confidence, poise, and lasting friendships.
Paula has been dancing since she was a young girl. Competing in ballet at the early age of six, life has come full circle and she is now fulfilling the dream of owning her own studio. She loves to work with children and actually says that "being a mom was her calling." Paula has been involved with several dance companies throughout her youth and a member of the dance company during her adult years at The University of Mississippi.
She has been an instructor for the past 8 years at Second
Steps Studio, and owner for the last 2 years
concentrating in Ballet and Pointe .
Erin is a graduate of North Georgia University. She has taught children for over 20 years. Erin has a true love for children and providing them with the confidence they need to succeed. We are excited that Erin shares her passion for tumbling and clogging at our studio.
Amy is the previous owner of Second Steps Studio , she has operated the successful studio for the past 15 years. She graduated from Valdosta State University and has taught children for over 25 years. Amy has a true love for mentoring to young dancers. Amy is passionate about dance, especially tap. Amy is a true asset to our studio and our community.
Alexis is a graduate of Jacksonville State University and specializes in Theatre Performance. She trained with The Dance Centre in Rome as well as the Berry College Dance Troupe. She performed with The Rome Little Theatre and with Cedartown High School Variety Show. She was dance captain at JSU and has training in ballet, lyrical, jazz ,modern, improvisational and musical theater style. She loves sharing her passion of dance and performing.
